Bucktide is an East Coast-based sales, marketing and brokerage company focused on consumer products which resonate in the natural, specialty and organic markets. We work with both Branded and Private Label manufacturers and are often sought out by retailers and foodservice operators to find product or category solutions or innovations that might appeal to their consumers.
Bucktide was founded by Thomas Moffitt, a serial entrepreneur with over 25 years of CPG experience. Mr. Moffitt has started and operated a diverse array of business including: a Food/Beverage Product Development firm, a confectionary company, a DSD Beverage Distribution Company based in the Midwest, and, most recently, a major national dairy production company based in New England (Commonwealth Dairy, which has two plants and achieved over $140 m in annual sales by its 6th year of operation). Mr. Moffitt has also worked for Daymon Worldwide, and spent 5 years at Ahold where he was responsible for sourcing their Private Label Dairy and Frozen products. This has resulted in a diverse and deep knowledge of the retail industry. He also serves on the Board of a number of emerging CPG companies.
